Whew....

I finally did it! Thanks to all you patient souls who helped me through this process.

The hottest titles at the book fair were Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Do It Yourself, Hollywood Chiuahua (sp?), Pokemon Ultimate Handbook, Bad Kitty, and Star Wars Clone Wars: Padawan. Actually, anything the kids could purchase with $5.00 was popular.

How many of you host only 1 book fair each year? How many of you host 2 books fairs?

Happy typing!

my first blog ever...

After many tries I was finally able to get in! I just finished a Book Fair. The hottest selling items at my fair were the Wimpy Kid books and a book I know nothing about, Found. They advertised it in their DVD. The younger ones were buying all the Skippyjon Jones books; and the Hollywood Chihuahua book was a big seller. I also sold a lot of new electronic study games like this new gadget that the kids can practice math facts with that projects on the wall or ceiling. One of the teachers bought one to use with her students in her class and then a lot of her students wanted one after she used it in class.

Finally Here....

Wow...do I feel inadequate with blogging or what? Took me some playing around to get in here... but I made it... Howdy everyone? Who is doing bookfairs right now? What is the latest "HOT" off the shelf books that you don't have enough of?

Great Idea!

Love this cutting edge mentality Jennifer!

Welcome!

This is a quickly fashioned blog but I felt inspired today. Hope this grows and we can share all the things that make us the best librarians in the state!
